DJI Phantom 4 Pro Is an Amazing Drone
If you’re new to drones, or are serious, the DJI Phantom 4 Pro is the drone for you. But, as in this video, I’d highly suggest practice before taking it to the field. At least 10 hours of relatively safe flights to really get to know the drone and it’s capabilities.
I took the DJI Phantom 4 Pro drone out for a test of the Auto Track feature. I bought it to follow me for a series of videos. Like driving along an open stretch of the Blue Ridge Parkway. But there’s minor issues with Auto Track. The first few times it couldn’t detect me. Another time it flew smack into tree branches. So this particular drone would be very bad for trail running.
The above reasons is why I highly suggest taking the DJI Phantom 4 Pro out for hours of practice runs before using it “for real”.
So far I love this little guy and can’t wait to really get out there in the field and use it. Eventually I’ll get the FAA certification for commercial use and really take to the skies! Thank you DJI for making such an amazing drone.
